The Mad Scientist goes Bananas over Smoothie!

This is another quick and easy way to have something healthy and nutritious "on the run".

Slice 1-2 ripe bananas and place these in a blender with a milk product of your choice e.g. low-fat milk, soy milk, add a generous sprinkling of ground cinnamon and honey to taste. Blend together until reasonably smooth.





According to the ambient temperature and your preferences, you can drink it chilled, at room temperature or briefly zapped in the microwave.

The Mad Scientist's Marvellous Fruit Smoothie

This is a quick and easy way to have something healthy and nutritious "on the run".

Gather together a selection of fruit (according to personal preference, but berries and/or bananas are always a great ingredient!) and place these in a blender with your liquid of choice e.g. fruit juice, low-fat milk, soy milk or even a bit of yoghurt, and blend together until reasonably smooth.

According to the ambient temperature and your preferences, you can drink it chilled, at room temperature or briefly zapped in the microwave.
